2024 – 2025 Community Healthcare Field Scholarship

The criterion for this scholarship is that you must be a graduate of Elcho High School, any year qualifies, and attend or plan to attend college in pursuit of a degree in the field of healthcare.

The amount of this scholarship will be in the amount of $500.00, awarded in two payments.

The copy of required documents for proof of enrollment as well as first semester grades must be submitted to EAHP PO Box 354, Elcho, WI 54428. Upon receipt of your successful enrollment by submission of a copy of first semester schedule a check will be sent to you in the amount of $250.00, and the final payment of $250.00 will be sent upon submission and successful completion of your first semester grades.

Details and Requirements

•    Applicants must write and submit an essay in English of between 750 and 1000 words on the topic “Why I Want to Pursue a Career in the Healthcare Field”.

•    Applicants must submit an essay that is original and entirely their own work. Any essay that contains plagiarized content or false information will be automatically disqualified.

•    Applicants must be US citizens.

•    Applicants must be in full time education at the time that the scholarship is awarded.

Selection Criteria

•    The selection committee decision is final and is based on the quality of the essays submitted.

•    The essays will be judged on originality, creativity, grammar, and punctuation.

•    Financial need is considered when awarding the scholarship.

Terms and Conditions

• We will only contact the applicant who is the selected scholarship recipient and will not contact other applicants.

•    All contact information submitted by applicants will only be used by Elcho Area Health Planning for the purpose of contacting the scholarship recipient and dispersing funds.

• We will not share applicant contact information with third parties.

• We reserve the right to publish the winning essay and a photograph and/or video of the winner, along with the winner’s name on the EAHP website and to use the winner’s name, photograph, marketing purposes.

• All entries must be submitted by Midnight April 30, 2024. Any entry submitted after this date will not qualify.
